My Dear Mr White,

Delightful to hear from you. I must say it is refreshing to deal with a senior member
of the bank. How nice to find someone who is able to string such well constructed
sentences together and who knows how to spell.

I suppose getting decent staff with even a modicum of education in your place is very
difficult. We have an expression over here "if you pay peanuts you get monkeys" and
you do seem to have your fair share of monkeys.

Anyway I am currently travelling and am not certain exactly when I will return. Once
I can confirm my arrival date in South Africa I will let you know.

I have copied that delightful Eddy into this email so that he is kept informed. I
keep forgetting that you are in fact countries apart and not actually in the same
office.
