Subject: Problem
Maureen,
I have just pulled Gonad in to my office for a good talking to. It seems that he was
told that Western Union will not transfer to Abidjan any longer due to what they
apparently called 519 fraud. Apparently the Abidjan office can no longer be trusted
because of this 519 fraud. Do you know what they are talking about?
They use the same reason for stopping the control number and secret question transfer
and now insist on identity proof.
It seems my hands are tied. If you need the money you will have to travel a bit.
There is no alternative.
Gonad is a good servant who has been with me for many years. He has saved my life on
two occasions and I trust him like a brother. He would not lie to me.
